Each player in the game has to play 6 tiles. Which tiles are not drawn by the players are put into the BoneYard. The players who obtain the highest double place it in the center and score 2 points. The player to the left of the first player takes the next turn.

The line can be played in two different directions, left or right. when the player does not make any match he has to play from the pile until he makes a match. If the open end of the domino has the same number as the domino on the other end then the player will score 2 points. If one of the dominoes at the end of the line is double then the player will score 3 points.


As a game of double 12 dominoes can be played with 4 players. First mix the dominoes up face down. If 2 players are playing each player has to draw 7 tiles. In the case of 3 or 4 players, they have to draw 5 tiles each. The tiles that are not drawn will be sent to the Bone Yard. The principle of this game is to make all ends total 5 or a multiple of 5.

The player who will earn the highest double will place it in the center. The very first domino can be played in 4 different directions, left, right, top, and bottom. To play a domino you just need a match. You have to draw tiles from the Bone Yard unless you make a match.

Each player in the game has to take 7 dominoes and sets them in a manner that the owner can see the value of the domino. But the other player cannot see the value at the same time. The partners sit the opposite of each other. The main objective of this game is to become the first to score 250.

The 5-5 and the 6-4 dominoes are worth 10 points. The 5-0, 3-2, and 4-1 are each worth 5 points. Each round counts as a point. You will find 42 possible points available per round. Bidding is to the left of the player who is the dealer. The dealer bids last. The double of the trump is the highest.

For instance, if the 3s are the trumps then 3-3 is the highest, then accordingly comes 6-3, 5-3, etc. Double may also be a bid. When trump is made, the highest double takes the trick. The trumps may also be the bid.

Each bidder has to bid the value in his hand. The other players may choose to raise or pass. 30 is considered as the lowest bid that can be made to start. When a player bids a limited bid, 42 points, each of the other players may continue the bid by doubling.

So the next bidder must bid 84 or pass. The 3rd player must bid 164 or pass, etc. The bidding keeps continuing until one player scores the bid after all others have passed. Trumps are not named until after bidding has been completed. You must need to follow the suit. If you cannot follow the suit you can either trump or discard. The bidder has always the first lead.


Poker is one of the most well-known games from double 12 dominoes. This game is suitable for 4 players. First, you have to remove all the 1-1 pieces and use 20 dominoes for the game. Turn all the remaining dominoes face down on the surface and mix them up.

Each player will get 5 dominoes. The main principle of this game is to win the better hand by having a better hand than your opponents. The game is just played like Poker except that the hands rank in the following order:

  • One pair must be any 2 doubles.
  • Flush is any five of a suit such as 6-1, 6-2, 6-3, 6-5, and 6-6.
  • Threes are any 3 doubles.
  • Four straight is a sequence of fours such as 4-6, 4-5, 4-4, and 4-3.
  • A full hand is three doubles and two of any suit, such as 6-6, 3-3, 2-2, 2-4, and 2-1.
  • A five straight is a sequence of five such as 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4, and, 3-5.
  • Fours are any four doubles.
  • Six straight is a sequence or rotation of sixes.
  • A royal is 5 doubles.

When none of the hands described above are out the best hand is determined by the rank of the highest piece.


This game of double 12 dominoes can be played with 2 or more players. To start the play you have to mix up the dominoes and then facedown all of them together on the surface.

In the Block Game, each player tries to match the pips on one end of a tile from his hand with the pips on an open end of any tile within the layout. If a player is unable to match a tile from his hand with a tile within the layout, the player passes his address to the player on his left. Each player may play only 1 tile per turn.

If the first player is being induced to eliminate all the dominoes he is considered a “Domino!” and wins the sport. If none of the players can make a play, the sport ends during a block. If a game ends during a block, all the players turn the tiles in their hands face up, count the pips on each tile, and add them together.

The player with a rock bottom total wins the sport and earns the points (1 point per pip) of all the tiles left remaining in his opponents’ hands. The player who first reaches 100 points or more is the overall winner.


A number of dominoes drawn: for two to 4 players, each player draws 7 tiles. If 5 or more are playing, before the beginning of the sport players should determine and agree upon the number of tiles each player should draw from the deck.

(If each player of two draws 7 or 8 tiles; 3 or 4 players, draw 5 or 6 tiles.) If there are any remaining tiles after the draw, they’re discarded, not used during that hand because there’ll be no drawing from the Bone Yard.
